DanceXchange (dx), the Dance House for Birmingham and the West Midlands, is beginning work on Buzz!, a new programme of dance activity for disadvantaged young people that aims to make a real difference in the lives of its participants. dx is currently recruiting for dance artists experienced in this area of delivery for work on three strands of Buzz!: projects that will engage disabled young people, young people affected by domestic abuse, and young people affected by homelessness.
Dates of contract: January – July 2010, various times as detailed below.
Fee: based on £150/day for planning and £37/hour and £220/day for delivery; the minimum amount of contact time is 30 hours plus 2 days. Limited funds to cover travel costs are available.
